Regional Missions

First Baptist reaches out across city, county and state lines to care for people who experience a range of loss of living essentials. Our church family offers construction, clean up, education, prayer and comfort.

College Students

Now Serving Atlanta (link: www.cbfga.org/church_life/now-serving-atl.html) provides college students the opportunity “to connect with each other and the needs of the world around them.” This 24-hour blitz makes a weekend more than just a little time away from campus – it is an infusion of life and energy into lives that need a boost of hope and love.

Youth
- March Mission Madness (link: www.cbfga.org/missions/opportunities/march-mission-madness-2010.html) is a gathering of youth groups from across the state of Georgia that includes an “intense weekend of mission service, worship, fellowship, food and fun!”

Summer Mission Trip varies from year to year. FBC youth travel across town and across the Atlantic for hands-on style opportunities to offer their gifts of leadership and caring expressed through VBS, backyard Bible clubs, minor construction and lots of noise. They make a huge impact by preparing for the mission and following through with the help of encouraging FBC adults.

Men’s Mission Trip

Our men look forward to time together and out of town to build or re-build homes, lives and relationships. Recent locations include trips to Texas, Mississippi and Louisiana. Wielding a hammer seems to be a preferred way to forge lasting hope in the lives of people who need to know someone cares enough to show up and make a difference.
