Prayer Ministry

“The greatest tragedy in life is the prayers that go unanswered because they go unasked.”
— The Circle Maker, Mark Batterson

First Baptist recognizes the power of prayer in our lives. The Bible urges us to pray without ceasing and encourages prayer in groups. The prayer room has been part of the church ministry for some time.  We encourage people to call or email prayer requests and make requests on Wednesday night.  Sometimes we hear of someone needing prayer through other members. When someone is on the prayer list,  we make a cards with name, address, phone number and the reason for the request.

Some ask that we pray only and some request privacy.

We go through the cards several times a week and send notes of encouragement often. The church furnishes prayer ministry cards and envelopes in the prayer room for members to send. We welcome anyone that would like to join us in this ministry.

If you have a prayer request, please share it with us and our members will pray for you. Please send your requests to our prayer room by calling our office or send an email to PRAYER MINISTRY.
